Events Calendar

We have places in our school Nursery (either 15 or 30 hours depending on your eligibility) and Reception. If you have children in these year groups, and would like a place, please contact the office and a member of Early Years staff will be in touch.

We will break up for the half-term holiday on Friday, 22nd of May at 3.20 pm.
Children come back to school on Monday, 1st of June.
 

Sports Day Date

For children in Years 4, 5 and 6 they will be having their sports day at the John Charles Stadium on Tuesday 16th June.
The events will start around 10 am and end around 2.30 pm.
For children in Years 1, 2 and 3 they will be joining the older children at the stadium on the afternoon of Tuesday 16th June. Events will start around 1 pm and end at 2.30 pm.

The stands will be split into seating for the children and seating for spectators. To make sure we keep the children safe, we ask that you remain in the spectator seats at all times and do not try to call your children away from their areas. This is purely for safety reasons and to help teachers keep track of their children during the day. Please note that, as this is a safety measure, you may be asked to leave if this expectation is not met.Children should arrive at school on time for registration. Further information regarding departure and return times will be shared by class teachers nearer the event.

The children should arrive at school in their full and correct PE kits (white/blue t-shirt, sports shorts and trainers). They will also need to bring a backpack/bag to carry water and lunch.
Hopefully, we will have lots of sunshine on the day. Please ensure that your child comes to school with a hat, sun cream and plenty of water to keep hydrated. In case of rain, it is also best to send your child with a coat, as the event will go ahead whatever the weather.
There will be no opportunities to buy food or drinks on the day. We would encourage children bringing their own packed lunch to choose a selection of healthy snacks rather than crisps and chocolate. If children usually have a school dinner, they will be provided with one on the day.

Early Years are arranging a separate event and will let you know the time and date shortly.

• Thursday, 16^th July - 6 pm – 8 pm Year 6 Prom
• Friday, 16^th July - 9.15 am Year 6 Leavers’ Assembly
• Friday, 16^th July - 12.30 pm School Finishes for Summer Hols

To help with childcare arrangements, we want to give you advanced notice that school will close for the summer holidays at 12.30 pm on Friday, 17th of July.

School will reopen on Wednesday, 2nd of September.
