Here at Hunslet Carr, we believe in giving children the best possible learning experience in a caring, stable and stimulating environment. Our dedicated and experienced staff of teachers and teaching assistants plan a range of exciting, structured, challenging and independent activities.
We are very proud of the diverse community to be found in our school and encourage our children to share and learn different languages and cultures.
Our Inclusion team provide excellent learning and pastoral support for all our children with a dedicated support centre on site.
Our classrooms have excellent facilities with interactive, Clevertouch screens, access to ipads, laptops and a wide range of resources to support and inspire learning.
Outdoor learning includes access to our outdoor classroom and weekly visits to our school allotment and library. In addition, our year 4 children attend swimming lessons at our local sports complex.
Extra-curricular activities include breakfast club, a variety of after school clubs, educational visits and residential trips.
