School Uniform

Hunslet Carr has a school uniform that we expect all children to wear.   As we enter the colder months,  some of you will be buying a new warmer uniform, here is a reminder of our expectations.
 Our school uniform is:
  • Navy blue sweatshirt or cardigans,
  • Pale blue or white polo shirt,
  • Black, grey or blue trousers or skirt.
  • Black shoes or trainers (no heels)
  • If your child wears earrings, they must be a small stud earring
  • If your child wears a bow in their hair, it must be a small bow

School uniform, with the school logo, can be obtained from The Uniform Centre 114-116 Queen St, Morley. or online at www.theuniformcentre.com

However, we are more than happy for children to wear school uniform without the school logo so long as it is the correct colour. This can   be purchased    from places like Morrisons or Asda at reasonable prices.

We also have a large selection of pre-loved uniform that has been kindly donated by parents and carers for other people to use. If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please contact Lauren Dean who will be happy to help.

Because one Navy Blue, age 7-8 jumper looks a lot like another, please ensure all uniform is   clearly    marked with your child’s name and year group.

Finally, due to COVID-19, we have changed our uniform expectations so that children should come to school in their PE kit on the days that they have PE. This is to avoid getting changed in small spaces when we are attempting to stay COVID-safe.

Our P.E kit is:

  • Black or navy blue jumper or tracksuit top
  • Pale blue or white t-shirts
  • Black, grey or blue tracksuit bottoms or leggings
  • Trainers or shoes that they can run in and you don't mind getting wet/dirty
