 Year 5   ​Curriculum

​Topic

Societal Divide: Where did the Incas go wrong? Year 5 are delving into the history of the Incas and the questionable decisions that they made, resulting in the downfall of their civilisation. Along the way, we will be exploring the hidden city of Machu Picchu, sampling Peruvian foods, investigating artefacts and creating Incan crafts. Can we solve the societal problems they faced and discover where they went wrong?

​PE

Year 5 have outdoor Games on a Thursday and PE (indoors) on a Tuesday. The children will need a
pair of dark blue shorts and White T-Shirt for PE. For outdoor games trainers, track-suit  bottoms and a Hoody / jumper is required.

​Home   Learning

Just a reminder. We expect all children to read for 10 minutes                 every day. 
Each Friday your child will be given homework to be handed back into school by Wednesday.
Handwriting will be given out every day for the first 7 weeks. Your child must return this homework daily in order to receive the rewards.
